Where are the most beautiful design shops in Valencia, Spain?
I found quite a few unique and inspiring design shops on my last visit to Valencia.
This guide features my selection of the best shops in the form of a self-guided walk that you can take in a couple of hours.
This self-guided walk starts in the old town area in Valencia and moves on to the cool district of Ruzafa.

The best design shops in Valencia: Self-guided walk
The historic district in Valencia is charming and has its own artistic feel that you notice right away. It has some great architecture too.
Our easy to find starting point is the Quart Towers, a famous local landmark. From there, start walking the street called C/ de Quart and you’ll soon reach the first stop.
Design shops in the historic district of Valencia

Cecilia Plaza is a design shop with charming handmade items.
I loved the colourful printed illustrations. You can find them on a range of products, such as bags, cushions, ceramics, art prints, postcards, and much more.
Address: C/ de Quart, 52, Valencia

A few steps from there you’ll find a home decor shop called Home by Auk.
Owned by a Valencian-Dutch interior designer, this shop is strikingly elegant, dominated by muted colours that immediately make you feel calm. I especially liked the unique lampshades.
Address: C/ de Quart, 46, Valencia

Our next stop is about 5 minutes away, a vintage shop called Pannonica Vintage.
It’s got vibrant 1950s vibes with a tastefully curated collection. It’s crammed with retro and vintage items, such as lamps, furniture, bags, clocks, and lots more.
I’m really into mid-century modern design, so I’m glad I came across this shop while strolling around the old town.
Address: C/ de Baix, 13, Valencia

A short walk from there, I found a colourful, cheerful little space displaying great illustrations of Valencia’s landmarks and lifestyle.
My first thought was “It’s not your typical souvenir shop”, so I wasn’t surprised to find that the name of the shop was Atypical Valencia.
Most items sold here are posters and postcards featuring Valencia in a vibrant graphic style. You can also find the illustrations on other items, such as tote bags, magnets, and t-shirts.
I became a huge fan of the architecture in Valencia during my last visit, so I was happy to see a lot of its wonderful buildings represented in the wall art around the shop.
Address: C/ dels Cavallers, 10, Valencia (Atypical Valencia has another location in the Central Market.)

Walking in the direction of the Central Market of Valencia, I found another unique shop called Kúbelik.
It’s a small fashion shop with a curated collection of original fashion and jewellery. The designs are funky and colourful with a retro touch.
Address: C. de los Derechos, 36, Valencia
Design shops in Ruzafa
The next stop is a bit farther away, about 25 minutes on foot, but you can also take a bus.
It’s in a different part of the city called Ruzafa, also known as the hip district of Valencia.
This area is quite different from the old town and has its own bohemian vibe.
There are some very beautiful buildings in Ruzafa, so keep looking up as you walk around the streets.
This is also a good place to find a nice cafe if you need to take a break. The neighbourhood is full of cool pavement cafes, bakeries, and bars.

Start you Rufaza design walk at Novedades Casino. It’s a vintage lover’s paradise, especially if you’re into graphic arts and photography.
It has one of the most unique retro collections I’ve seen, with a strong focus on posters, postcards, slides, illustrations, and books. Expect some lovely surprises.
Address: C/ de Cadis, 7, Valencia

A short walk from there you’ll reach Gnomo, one of my favourite design shops on this tour.
It’s a lovely, brightly lit space, with a variety of contemporary design items.
This is a great place to find souvenirs from Valencia or cool gift ideas, such as bags, stationery, books, t-shirts, tote bags, socks, jewellery, and so on.
Address: C. de Cuba, 32, Valencia

Just around the corner from there you’ll find the last stop on our tour: Madame Mim.
I would best describe it as an atmospheric vintage shop. That’s because when you step inside you feel like you’re walking into an old movie set.
The mannequins scattered around the shop add to the cinematic effect.
They have a great range of items from clothing and accessories to vintage electronics.
Address: C. de Puerto Rico, 30, Valencia
